How do I become a Creme Bride?
We are truly honored that you have chosen us to design, bake, & decorate your cake! Something that is a true centerpiece to your day, we don't take the responsibility lightly, and you shouldn't either. Here's a brief outline of how to book with us and what to do next.
Step 1: Book
To book with us you'll need 2 things. A $200 deposit and your signed contract. These two things can happen at a tasting, or over the phone. Your welcome to call the shop at 817-492-8888 to place the deposit. Please keep in mind, that the date of your event is not saved or any way confirmed unless you have placed your deposit. The deposit saves the date of your event and will go towards your final payment.
It's that simple. But this wouldn't be much of a step-by-step with just one thing, so we included the other major dates that happen during our time together.
Step 2: Final Appointment
Your Final Appointment will be about 8-10 weeks before your wedding or event date. Feel free to schedule your Final Appointment Wednesday-Saturday 10am-2pm. This is your time to finalize every detail in your design, cake flavor, and color. Or change the whole thing and start fresh. Either way, by the end of the hour we will have all the details of your cake. That's also the time where we determine if there is anything that we will need from you to make the design elements as customized as possible (can we say groom's cake?). Other things could be color swatches, lace to replicate, logo images, ribbon, etc.
Step 3: Final Payment & Custom Items
Your Final Payment is due no later than 3 weeks prior to your wedding or event date. Feel free to make additional payments along the way, but 3 weeks it the deadline. This is also the deadline to deliver any custom items we may need for your cake as determined at the Final Appointment (color swatches, logos, ribbon, etc).
